Here is what I did.

  1. Kia Ora Liyahn,

My name is Shannon, and I’m from the Summer Learning Journey.

I saw your blog post and thought I might be able to help! Sometimes the colours just look better in your head than they do on paper, but that’s ok! Pictures don’t have to be perfect, so long as we give it a good try.

When I look at this painting, I have a couple of ideas that might help you. Have you considered picking one colour and some different variations of it (i.e. purple, light purple, dark purple - a colour I think you might like as you used it as your background) and putting those into the squiggly lines?

Or alternatively, you could use something other than solid colours. Maybe you could put starry night images round the outside.

What’s something you think adding would make the painting look better and match?

    Ka kite anō,
    Shannon (SLJ)

  2. Hello Liyahn.
Sometimes we just need to try something to see what it looks like and then if we don't like it,we can always change it.
Is there any chance that you can delete your work if you didn't like the colours that you put together?.
I'm not sure what you can do or not do on a chrome book. All I use mine for is for blogging.
Have a great holiday and Merry Christmas.
I look forward to seeing more of your holiday learning.
