Friday Blog post (Kate Sheppard)

 Kia ora readers,

Today is Friday.  For today I will be posting about Kate Sheppard. Do you guys know about the women on the $10 note from New Zealand? Well that's her! Kate Sheppard was the first president of the National Council of Women of New Zealand, founded in 1896, and helped reform the organisation in 1918. In later life, she travelled to Britain and assisted the suffrage movement there.  She worked for the rights of women. She managed to get the vote for women in New Zealand.  New Zealand was the first country IN THE WORLD to let women vote. All because of Kate!

Here is a slide I did for Kate Sheppard and what she had done.

Thank you for coming to my blog post about Kate Sheppard and what she had done. Please leave a thoughtful comment and have a excellent day!.
