Thank you for visiting my blog today. I have solved my Math in proving my thinking by using multiplication, addition and division. Here is my solution.
If it takes 45 minutes for Sione to help his brothers with their homework. How much time
does Sione spend in 14 days helping his brothers?
I think the answer is 630 minutes because I know my multiplication. 45 mins x 14 days = 630 mins
I also know the answer is 630 mins because I know my addition.
45 + 45 + 45 + 45 + 45 + 45 + 45 + 45 + 45 + 45 + 45 + 45 + 45 +45 = 630
I also know my division to see how much time does Sione spend in 14 days helping his brothers by hours.
630 mins divided by 60 mins = 10 hours and 30 mins for 14 days.

Well done for converting your minutes into hours and minutes! This is a very clear explanation Liyahn. You have used repeated addition to work out this equation. can you think of a way that you can use multiplication?
