Roald Dahl Comprehension Questions

Hello readers,

Today I am going to share you my answer's about Roald Dahl's  Comprehension Question. Here is my presentation.

Roald Dahl
Comprehension Questions

Answer the questions and find two images of Ronald Dahl and two images of two of the books he
has written and put them in this document. Share this on your blog when you have finished.

1. Where was Roald Dahl born?  He was born in Llandaff, Cardiff, Wales

2. Name three of Dahl’s children.
Tessa, Ophelia and Lucy.

3. What was the Great Mouse Plot of 1924?
The Great Mouse Plot of 1924 is substantiated by a commemorative blue plaque on
the otherwise unassuming building in Llandaff, Cardiff that was once  Mrs Pratchett’s  sweet shop,
where Dahl and his infant pals played a number of tricks on the surly shop-owner, including putting
a mouse in a jar of gobstoppers.

4. How do we know that Dahl was adventurous?
Dahl’s escapades took on a more daredevil turn when he joined the Royal Air Force in 1939,
with World War II just over the horizon. His adventures as a fighter pilot and carrying out
espionage missions for British intelligence are chronicled in Going Solo, the grown up
sequel to Boy.

5. Did Roald Dahl lead a happy life? Provide evidence for your answer.
Yes, Roald Dahl led a happy life. He wrote many books such as
The Twits, George’s Marvelous Medicine, The BFG, The Witches and
Matilda, all of which quickly became regarded as children’s classics.
